We are hiring officers to work within our Canadian fleet.

Key responsibilites: 
Safe and efficient operations, in accordance with the Master's & Chief Officers instructions, relevant legislation, and the Company's Management System.
Maintain a safe navigational watch as assigned by Master. Instruct and supervise Ratings of the vessel in the Company risk assessment, job package and permit to work system.

To be a 2/O in Maersk the minimum requirements are:
- STCW Watchkeeping Mate 
- Valid Seafarers Medical 
- STCW MED for Officers 
- Dynamic Positioning - Induction
- Marine Advanced First Aid
- STCW Personnel Designated with Security Duties 
- GMDSS (GOC) 
- FRC would be considered an asset
